fiction & prose

his upcoming fictional pamphlet ‘help! my miranda is a man (duh!)’, exploring how to navigate if the sex and the city character formerly known as miranda hobbes came out as a transfag (gay trans guy), is soon to be published in the anthology ‘sex change and the city’ (girl dad press).

his short fiction work ‘fireworks’ was included in queer sci-fi anthology ‘celestial bodies‘ (tiny owl workshop), shortlisted for ‘best anthology’ award in the 2024 aurealis awards, australia’s premier speculative fiction awards.

performance

his powerpoint ‘fall out boy is for lovers!’, presented at queer powerpoint (princess theatre, 26.06.24)argues that fall out boy’s lyrics constitute their own rich queer code, using academic queer theory to argue that this subtextual representation will always fulfill a unique desire for queer people that explicit experiences of queer love (personal or vicarious) cannot.
